Entry requirements: Overview Applicants must already work in education. You need at least two years of experience in the sector. If you don't have the required academic qualifications, you may still be eligible. This depends on your work experience or other qualifications. Typical applicants include: Teaching assistants, learning support staff, or cover supervisors with at least two years of experience. They may also have a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) award. Further Education teachers with at least two years of experience. They may also hold a Diploma in Education and Training or a CertEd (PCET).
